      there is no CyanogenMod7 for galaxy wonder...
      btw, CyanogenMod7 is not as awesome as CM9 because CM7 is based on Gingerbread but CM9 is based on ICS..
      so, CM9 is better.

      Use CM9 ROM. No lag at all for HD games. I try it for myself playing Modern Combat 3. But in some other stock rom and stock rom, MC3 lag like hell.
      But camera, usb thetering and some other things is still not working in this rom since it's still in Alpha.
      Bionic Cow v2 (OC) also nice but still a little bit lag in MC3.

      No need to use chainfire 3d.
      You can use it if you want but no difference if u use it or not because the ROM is already awesome for HD games. No lag at all.

      I dont try that rom yet. But I believe, there is no lag playing HD games since PARANOIDANDROID ROM is based on CM9.

      Well, In my opinion. I recommend Bionic V2. Im using it right now. Even a little bit lag in some HD games, this ROM is totally stable, better and faster than others custom ROM I've used before.

      CM9 is the best custom rom so far except for the camera which is doesnt work.
      For me, Rebel rom 3.0 is quite good. Bionic V2 is also nice and faster for daily use. Both roms I mention is faster(For me)than other custom roms I used before.
      I recommend use Bionic V2 while waiting for the release of CM9 stable version.

    I have a problem with CM9. Cm9 thinks that system storage is my internal storage and now i cannot mount my internal storage or internal sd card. If i go to Galler it says No external SdCard

      1.Go to setting>Storage .
      2.Then, click option.
      3.Click internal memory.
      4.Reboot.

    Well I'm sorry to say this, After i flashed cm9 most of the apps were force closing and it was very annoying. Then i flashed Bionic Cow 2 and tere was same problem that i had with cm9, Storage. So, i flashed back to the stock rom. Well, anyways thanks for the solution.

      Sorry. I dont know when cm9 stable will be release.
      And also, make sure to wipe data before flash a rom because it have a conflict between the two rom - cm9 which is ICS and bionic 2 which is GB. So, conflict between this two will make almost all apps FC.

      Camera (not properly)
      FM radio
      USB tethering
      ---
      For the camera, you can use 3rd party app (ex: silent camera). But sometimes it works fine, sometimes it doesnt work (Force close).

    on bionic cow v2 rom there's too many download link such as none overclock and overclock download...both have 2 parts to download...!! which one should i download and do i need to download both part...??? thanks...

      Well you can download either overclocked or none overclocked. And yes you will have to download the two parts and extract using 7-zip. Meaning, you have to download two part of overclocked or two parts of the none overclocked.

    i use the latest update for paranoid android...it is based on CM9 build 7....camera working...everything was fine and quite smooth...but still has minor bug like cannot open "about phone"...but it is going to be fix sooner by Doomsday94....as CM9 for this device is going to be stable soon...maybe they will start developing CM10...who knows right...but i really wanna thanks arco so much for working very hard for our device...

      well you can either restore your previous rom or just flash new rom...as simple as that...u did make a backup before flashing cm9 right..??

    hello hunter... i will just ask on [ROM] Cow ROM v7 (Bionic Cow 2) about the 2. Use 7zip, right click on xxxx.001, extract. It will create the zip file required for flashing. Copy this zip into your phone. (Don't extract xxx.002).. how to put this on odin?....

    Thank you very much for writing dedicated articles about the Galaxy W model. Does anybody know how to enable call recording in the Galaxy W? I have tried almost every application, even the Total Recall (and the SII version) but nothing works. It must be that it's disabled in the phone. Does anybody know how to enable it? Call recording is very useful feature when taking instructions, telephone numbers or road directions.

      You can try CM9 Rom. It's totally awesome ics rom for sgw. Camera works just fine. No radio app by default but you can install spirit fm. This is an alternative radio replacement for ICS. Check it out here:

      Make sure you have the right apn setting for your mobile network. Call your mobile operator to make them send you the right setting for your phone. Or you can just set it manually if u know the setting for your mobile network by go to setting > more > network > apn. Set your apn and save.

      To save battery in cm9, U need to flash this kernel. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1855557 Go to that link and download V1 kernel. (Do not use v2 or v3) Flash using cwm. Download set cpu here: http://fullapk4free.blogspot.com/2012/08/setcpu-for-root-users-apk-full-download.html Open the apps, Set the governer to ondemand and set scheduler to sio. Remember, everytime u flash an update from cm9, u need to flash this kernel and do what i said above.

      If u using stock rom. go to setting > about phone > software update to update your phone to the latest version. Latest version of stock rom is quite good but not as good as custom rom

      cm9b4 is the best so far. no major bugs. camera works fine. battery life is also good if u follow the steps that i wrote in above comment(the one that i answer to RUF).
      cm10 also good. but still lag in playing games. camera works fine.
      i reckon u to use cm9.

      If you are using CM 10, camera is not working with kernel 3.0. Try with kernel 2.6

      Oh, i dont get it. It stuck at galaxy w logo. Not at boot animation. Is it becouse i use cwm 6? Or i download using idm?
